Willmott Dixon Developments is working with Newark and Sherwood District Council to deliver the regeneration of Ollerton town centre. The objective is to create a new civic and commercial heart for the town.

The project brings forward a long-standing ambition to revitalise the town centre, requiring a viable, deliverable scheme that reflects community priorities and supports long-term economic growth.

Willmott Dixon Developments has worked with the council to shape the scheme, testing proposals, aligning funding and progressing the project through the Green Book business case and into planning.

The development will introduce a new public sector hub, alongside public realm, leisure and residential uses. It will be supported by improved public realm and a new pedestrian connection linking key routes through the town centre.

The scheme has now received planning approval, with work expected to commence later this year.

Once complete, the town centre will provide new public services, social spaces and homes, that will increase footfall and support local businesses.

The project represents a significant opportunity to revitalise our community, enhance public services and create a more vibrant and accessible town centre.
